Shoppers brave the snow storm in Colorado Springs
On Sunday afternoon, shoppers trying to shop local braved frigid temperatures and snow showers in Downtown Colorado Springs.
The snowfall started light, melting before it hit the ground.
Wylene Carol said, "The snow is beautiful and it's not all that cold."
It's not that cold... if you're bundled up.
"You better be on-guard cause it can happen at any moment," said David Disch.
That is exactly what the weather did. By 4 o'clock, the snow had started to stick, making shoppers scatter and prompting natives to warn visitors.
"Stay inside. Don't even attempt to do it if you're not used to it," said Jamie Migel.
By nightfall, the roads through downtown were snow-packed and all shoppers were gone.
