PUEBLO, Colo. -- The Pueblo Police Department has made an arrest after a burglary in progress on December 6 around 2:30 AM at the 1400 block of Spruce Street.

When police got to the scene, an officer found a suspect in the backyard with a rifle slung across his chest, later determined to be an Airsoft gun. He put it down when the officer ordered him to. The suspect, identified as 34-year-old Andrew Fawkes, was arrested. A loaded handgun was also found in his pocket. He is facing charges of 2nd Degree Burglary and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Another suspect was able to get away. He is described as wearing a gray hoodie. If you know the identity of the second suspect, you are encouraged to contact the Pueblo Police Department. If you would like to remain anonymous, contact Pueblo Crime Stoppers @ 542-STOP (542-7867) or www.pueblocrimestoppers.com. If your information leads to a felony arrest, you could be eligible for a cash reward.

This is the same neighborhood where Pueblo police arrested a suspect accused of attacking several people on an apparent rampage on December 3. Police say neighbors in the area are keeping a watchful eye due to recent criminal activity.
