CDOT unveils plans for bus system serving 3 ski resorts from Denver

Bustang

DENVER (AP) - Colorado transportation officials have unveiled plans for a bus system that will shuttle skiers and snowboarders from Denver to three resorts.

Gov. Jared Polis said Wednesday that the so-called Snowstang buses will help ease traffic congestion on Interstate 70 that has been exacerbated by a recent population boom.

The buses will start running Dec. 14 and serve Loveland Ski Area, Arapahoe Basin and Steamboat. Buses will operate on weekends throughout the winter and on the Martin Luther King Jr. and Presidents Day holidays.
