Hot temperatures on the way along with daily storm chances

Tonight we will see partly cloudy skies with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm early in the evening. It will be on the breezy side with winds out of the southeast at around 5 to 15 mph. Expect overnight lows down into the lower 60s.

Friday will bring us mostly sunny skies with much warmer temperatures. We will see high in the mid 90s for communities along the the I-25 Corridor, with much warmer conditions out on the Eastern Plains. We do have a slight chance of an afternoon or evening shower and thunderstorm.

We have much better chances for showers and thunderstorms on Saturday and Sunday. Sunday could be the wettest day of the weekend. We will see highs in mid 90s.

Our chance of showers and storms continues into next week. We have a chance of showers and storms Monday through Wednesday, with highs in the uppers 80s. We will have to watch for potential for flash flooding over the burn scar areas starting on Sunday.
