A new career and technical education program was just unveiled at Liberty High School in District 20 to help creative students get a head start on some of their goals for the future.

The CTE program allows high school students to get hands-on experience in their future interests. It offers curriculum from automotive technology and construction, to theater and dance programs, all within newly-renovated classrooms.

"It really is incredible. I feel like I'm taking steps, every day, to learn important information, [including] learning about the laws and ethics in the field. Every day you can learn so much, so everyday I'm just maximizing that ability to learn," said Discovery Canyon Senior Gavin Paz-Soldan, who's studying nursing in the CTE program.

Any high school student in District 20 can take these classes at Liberty High School.
