Despite ban, high-capacity magazines still sold in Colorado
DENVER (AP) - Despite a 2013 state law banning gun magazines that hold more than 15 rounds, high-capacity magazines are still being sold in Colorado.
An undercover KUSA-TV investigation found that some gun shops are skirting the ban by selling magazines in pieces that customers can assemble themselves while at least two are selling them fully assembled anyway.
The law's sponsor, state Sen. Rhonda Fields, says she's sickened by how those businesses are operating and stunned by how open the practice is.
