Cheyenne Mountain Zoo experiences power outage

Update: Power at the zoo was restored just before 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo experienced a total power outage Sunday morning just before 9 a.m.

The zoo says it will be closed until it regains power, hopefully around noon.

All animals are safe.
