Colorado Springs residents audition to be the Next American Idol
People waited in line before sunrise Sunday in Colorado Springs for their chance to audition for the 2020 season of American Idol.
As on of this season’s 22 audition cities, Colorado Springs played host to the American Idol Bus Tour for Labor Day weekend.
Those who got a “yes” during Sunday’s auditions will have a chance to sing in front of the American Idol TV judges: Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan.
They’ll wait in line one more time at the “Judge Cities” later this year and then — if they get a golden ticket — they’ll be off to Hollywood.
