1 dead after crash at I-25 and Cimarron Street
One person is dead after a crash that closed the intersection of Cimarron at Interstate 25 in Colorado Springs for most of the day Sunday.
Police say the driver of a Chevrolet Silverado ran a red light and crashed into another pickup truck with a camper trailer.
Two other people were taken to the hospital after the crash, but no identities have been released.
The driver of the Silverado died at the scene.

The intersection under the bridge at I-25/Cimarron is completely closed due to a serious crash, said CSPD in a tweet.
CDOT says that the Northbound off ramp is closed as a result of the crash between exits 140 and 141.

Officials warn drivers to be prepared for heavy congestion and to use alternate routes.
Serious crash at I25/Cimarron under the bridge. The intersection is completely closed. Be prepared for significant congestion in the area. Alternatives routes are recommended. Slow down in the area -drive safely.
