Tonight: Isolated showers and thunderstorms will develop over the mountains and reach down across the I-25 corridor this evening. The severity of the storms are low. Biggest concerns again will be the burn scar areas in the Sangre’s and Wet’s as a few mountain thunderstorms have the potential to cause flash flooding. Gradually turning mostly clear overnight with a low temperature of 60 in Colorado Springs.

Monday: Temperatures staying on average for Colorado Spring and Pueblo, 80’s and low 90’s. For the eastern Colorado plains temperatures will approach 100. Afternoon showers and thunderstorm will begin over the higher elevations and clip I-25 locations by mid-afternoon.

Extended: This trend of afternoon thunderstorms will likely continue through the entire week.
