Suspect drives into group of people at Colorado Springs nightclub

Police are searching for the driver of the vehicle that drove into a group of people and ended up injuring a man early Friday morning.

Officers were called to the CopperHead Road Nightclub for reports of a hit-and-run in the parking lot.

Upon arrival, the suspect had left the scene and officers found a man with serious injuries.

Further investigation revealed that a Hispanic man was kicked out of the bar and then began to argue with a group of people in the parking lot. He then got into a late 1990’s model, single cab, Chevy Silverado truck and intentionally drove towards the group of people.

During the incident, he struck a man causing serious bodily injuries. He was transported to the hospital and is in stable condition.

The vehicle sustained damage to the front passenger side of the vehicle. The unidentified suspect left the scene.
