Pedestrian suffers serious injuries following a crash in Colorado Springs
A pedestrian has suffered serious injuries after being hit by a car while legally crossing Hwy 115 at Star Ranch Rd. (MAP) Thursday morning.
Officers responded to the scene and transported the pedestrian to the hospital for treatment.
It was determined that the driver of a Chevrolet sedan was attempting to turn left and go southbound on Hwy 115 from westbound Cheyenne Meadows Rd. when they struck the pedestrian.
Neither excessive speed nor impairment is suspected in the incident. Charges have not been filed at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
