Public asked to attend funeral in Las Animas for Navy veteran
The American Legion is asking the public to come out for the funeral of a Navy veteran who recently passed away.
Horace Marrinan’s only living relative is not able to attend Wednesday’s funeral. So, the Legion is putting the word out for anyone who’s able to attend.
Marrinan’s funeral will be held at 11 a.m., at the Fort Lyon National Cemetery in Las Animas. If you’re able to attend please be at the cemetery before 10:45 a.m. It’s located on County Rd. HH, past County Rd. 15, which is south of U.S. Hwy. 50.
