Police: Owner sold meth at Oklahoma medical marijuana dispensary
The owner of a medical marijuana dispensary in Oklahoma is accused of selling more than cannabis in the store.
The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics says the owner of a shop in Spiro sold methamphetamine to undercover agents twice.
“On two separate occasions, our undercover agents have recently purchased meth from the owner of ‘Left Handed Okies’ dispensary in Spiro,” an OBN spokesperson said.
The dispensary has since been shut down, and the owner, 38-year-old Jeffrey Peregrino, was booked into the LeFlore County Jail for charges of trafficking methamphetamine.
Voters in Oklahoma approved medical marijuana in 2018.
