Crews investigate hazmat incident at Colorado Springs park

The Colorado Springs Fire Department was called to America the Beautiful Park Monday morning due to a reported hazmat incident, but there’s no threat to the public.

Upon arrival, crews found seven 55-gallon drums in the area of the playground north of the park. Teams investigated but found no immediate threat.
