UPDATE: Smoke visible from Highway 9 Wildfire is Canyonlands Fire leftovers

UPDATE: A Bureau of Land Management official says that any smoke visible from Highway 9 is likely fuel burning off from inside the Canyonlands fire.

The Tallahassee Fire Department investigated the scene and found no evidence of the wildfire that had previously been reported by CDOT.

Fire department activity is northbound and southbound. Officials warn to watch for emergency vehicles.
