Scattered storms likely this afternoon – 7/11/19
TODAY: Areas of low clouds and humid conditions will be seen up and down the front range this morning. Cloud breaks will move in following sunrise and we will get back to a partly cloudy sky. Temperatures will be HOT today! Highs get to the 80s and 90s before a few storms roll in. The best chance for those will be after 2PM, with some containing locally heavy rain and lightning.
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and a bit muggy again. Temperatures cool to the 50s and 60s.
EXTENDED: Increasing storm chances will be seen through the weekend, with the best day for more widespread rain being Saturday. Temperatures will be just slightly cooler that day before we get back to that intense summer heat next week.
