Victim identified in Colorado Springs 4th of July shooting
Police have identified the 35-year-old man who died in a fatal shooting on July 4 as Paul Miller of Colorado Springs.
Police responded to a home in the 3400 block of Springnite Drive for a reported shooting just before 7:00 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Miller suffering from a gunshot wound.
Miller was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Officers found 56-year-old Michael Mills of Colorado Springs inside the home and arrested him for second-degree murder.
Mills was booked into the El Paso County Jail.
