Colorado Springs woman willing to give thief second chance

Colorado Springs police are searching for the man who was caught on surveillance cameras stealing a woman’s wallet while she was working inside Peak Performing Arts in the Chapel Hills Mall Monday night.

But the victim says she doesn’t want the suspect to be penalized if the wallet is returned with everything inside.

The wallet was stolen just before 7 p.m.

The photo above is a snapshot from the surveillance cameras showing the suspect’s face. Right now, we’re working to get the full surveillance video.
