Memorial Park in Colorado Springs to host fireworks display
Memorial Park will host its annual 4th of July fireworks display.
The free event will begin on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. with activities and concessions. The Colorado Springs Philharmonic is scheduled to perform at 7:30 p.m.
The fireworks display is expected to start at dusk, so roughly around 9:00 p.m. Last year’s fireworks display was delayed for about 45 minutes due to high winds, in order for the show to go on wind speeds need to be 15 mph or less.
The event is expected to draw a large crowd, so get there early to claim your spot.
