100 degree temps likely around parts of Southern Colorado – 6/28/19
TODAY: Another day of sunshine will bring us some intense heat through the Pikes Peak Region today. Highs get into the 90s, with the chance to hit 100 degrees or more through Pueblo and the Eastern Plains. A few rain showers are possible along and west of I-25, but those won’t help to cool us off.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear to partly cloudy with mild lows in the 50s and 60s.
EXTENDED: Saturday looks mainly dry with more warm highs in the 80s and 90s. By Sunday and Monday, better chances for widely scattered showers and storms move back in. This will briefly cool us to the mid and low 80s. 70s and 60s are likely over our mountain cities. Wear your rain gear and bring a coat to the Hill Climb! Temperatures will be chilly on Pikes Peak. We lessen the rain chances through Wednesday and dry out and heat up again, just in time for the Fourth of July.
