Showers and storms make a return – 6/12/19
TODAY: Mostly cloudy to partly sunny skies will be seen around Southern Colorado early this morning. We should get into some cloud breaks for lunchtime before they increase again this afternoon. Highs will only be in the 60s and 70s thanks to that. A rain shower or two is possible between 3 and 5pm, with more widely scattered storms after 6PM.
TONIGHT: A few showers or a storm will linger through midnight, then clearing moves in again. Lows cool into the 40s to right around 50.
EXTENDED: Increasing chances for rain and storms are in the forecast through Father’s Day weekend. Temperatures will be in the 80s and 90s through Friday, with cooler air in the 60s and 70s returning by Saturday and Sunday. Less rain is in the forecast for Monday and Tuesday.
