Armed suspects invade southeast Colorado Springs home

Police are looking for two suspects who forced entry into a southeast Colorado Springs home Monday morning.

Authorities responded to the 3500 block of Indigo Ridge Pt. for reports of a home invasion in progress.

Further investigation revealed that two suspects forced entry into a home where a female juvenile was inside. The victim reports that one of the suspects was armed with a handgun.

The victim was not injured during the incident and ran to a neighbor’s home after the suspects left.

One of the suspects was described as a black male in his mid-thirties and approximately 6’2″ with a muscular build. The second suspect was described as an unknown race or age female.
