Colorado Springs church helps local Gary Ward after hes diagnosed with cancer

The Ward family from Colorado Springs had their life rocked when they found out their father Gary Ward was diagnosed with esophageal cancer.

Gary had to put a simple renovation on hold.

“It was about two and a half months ago, and I was really just feeling sick so I went to the emergency room.” Ward said.

Over the next two months, he suffered excruciating pain. That’s when his doctor discovered the cancer.

Shannon Ward, Gary’s daughter reached out for help on social media. She explained would be unable to complete their home remodel. Gordon Stamp and his team from the Sanctuary Church are now taking over the $20-$30 thousand renovations, free of charge.
