Tonight: The severe thunderstorms across I-25/HWY 50/Baca County this afternoon have moved east into Kansas. Temperatures reaching into the low 50’s and 40’s for SE Colorado with light winds.
Tuesday: Similar to today, beautiful start to the day with temperatures warming up very quickly, into the high 70’s by early afternoon. Some spots in the far SE will reach the 80’s. Afternoon thunderstorms are likely with the biggest concerns being hail, strong wind gusts, and lightning.
Extended: This trend of afternoon thunderstorms will last through at least Wednesday along with a slight cooling trend. For the latter half of the work week, diminishing rain chances and a gradual warm up into the weekend.
