Person dumps baby raccoon at Colorado Parks and Wildlife parking lot
A person dumped a baby raccoon off at the Colorado Parks and Wildlife parking lot in Colorado Springs.
CPW told KRDO that the raccoon died shortly after it was found.
In a tweet posted by the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Southeast Region, they say the raccoon was in a basket and reminded the public to leave baby wildlife alone.
The tweet continued by stating, someone in Colorado Springs orphaned the raccoon and then dumped it in the snow in the parking lot.
