Marty’s Sunday Morning Forecast – Happy Mother’s Day! – 5/12/19

Mother’s Day: Mostly sunny this morning, some clouds over and near the mountains this afternoon but we expect most areas to remain dry. We do expect some breezy pockets on Sunday but the air should warm back into the 60s and 70s for the plains with 50s to lower 60s for the mountains.

Tonight: Mostly clear and cool with low temperatures in 40s for the plains with 30s over the mountains and mountain valleys.

Extended: Next week looks much warmer than last week with temperatures warming into the 70s and 80s for the plains. Each day a few sprinkles will be possible over and near the mountains during the afternoon and evening hours. The breeze will be more noticeable starting Wednesday and lasting through the end of the week. Showers and thunderstorms look to be a better bet for more of the area on Friday and Saturday as some colder air moves over the area.
