05/12/19 Forecast Discussion
Tonight: Temperatures cooling off into the mid-40’s overnight. Unlike last night, there are no Frost Advisories in Colorado so sensitive plants and vegetation are not at risk. Staying mostly clear with light winds.
Monday: Starting off our Monday with plenty of sunshine and warming up very quickly, into the mid-’70s before noon. Increasing clouds in the afternoon with scattered thunderstorm chances after 3 pm. Biggest concerns will be gusty winds, lightning, and small hail.
Extended: Entering into a slight warming trend with high temperatures into the upper 70’s and 80’s. Isolated to scattered afternoon thunderstorm chances Tue-Fri. Coverage of the rain showers and t-storms will increase Friday/Saturday as a cold front will cross Colorado Friday afternoon. Which will, in turn, cool temperatures for our weekend ahead.
