Man who assaulted Uber driver in Colorado Springs sentenced to prison and probation
The man who assaulted an Uber driver in Colorado Springs last September was sentenced to four years in prison and at least 10 years of intensive supervision probation.
Police said 22-year-old Raydrian Tyree Scott was arrested after he attempted to sexually assault his 63-year-old Uber driver by striking her and biting her several times, causing several injuries.
During the incident, the victim was able to escape her vehicle, however, the woman said the suspect then took her vehicle and fled the scene. The victim was then transported to a local hospital where she was treated for her injuries.
After detectives were able to locate Scott, he was still in possession of the victim’s white 2011 Chevrolet Cruze.
Scott is guilty of robbery and attempted sexual assault. The 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office said Wednesday that he was sentenced to four years in prison for the robbery and 10 years to life of sex offender intensive supervised probation.
