Moose visits Monument Police Department and hangs out in field
A moose stopped by the back of the Monument Police Department Friday and ended up lingering in the area throughout the afternoon.
Officials urge people to avoid the moose, which was spotted roaming around Hwy 105 near I-25.
Our photographer caught a video of the moose hiding in tall grass as onlookers tried to spot it.
If you see a moose, stay calm and back away.
