CSPD: Man responsible for over 100 burglaries gets 8 years
Colorado Springs police say a man responsible for more than 100 burglaries in mid-2018 was sentenced to eight years in the Department of Corrections.
Devin Davell Scott was arrested after an investigation into a string of “pry bar burglaries.” Police say he and his accomplices are linked to the dozens of burglaries. Another suspect, Rayvaughn Milne is awaiting trial.
When Scott was arrested in August, police also found images of “sexually exploited underage children” in his possession, according to police.
Scott was sentenced to eight years for the burglary charges and three years for the child porn. Those sentences will run concurrently.
