Breezy, few afternoon storms – 4/25/19
TODAY: Breezy weather is in the forecast for this afternoon. Gusts could be as high as 25 mph as a front clears the area. The strongest winds for the last part of the day will be in Southeast Colorado. The rest of the day brings highs in the 60s and 50s. 70s are likely out east of I-25. Pack your umbrella if you have anywhere to be! A few afternoon rain showers and storms are possible after 2PM.
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy to mostly cloudy with temperatures cooling to the 40s tonight. A few places in the mountains will drop into the 30s.
EXTENDED: A couple more showers and storms are possible for tomorrow with warmer highs in the 70s to near 80. Places over higher elevations will be topping off in the 60s. A stray shower or storm is also possible on Saturday, before a dry and warm day returns on Sunday. A bigger storm is on the way for Monday and Tuesday which will allow for a cool down and more significant rain and snow chances.
