Rescuers respond to injured snowboarder on Pikes Peak
The snow is quickly retreating from the summit of Pikes Peak, but a snowboarder took their chance with a run down America’s Mountain and ended up needing to be rescued Wednesday.
The El Paso County Search and Rescue Team said at about 3 p.m. it was responding to the injured snowboarder.
It’s not clear where the snowboarder was reported to be stuck on the mountain.
