Katies Morning Forecast – 4/5/19
TODAY: Party cloudy to partly sunny skies are in the forecast for much of the afternoon. A few rain showers could roll through during the late afternoon, but most of the day stays dry and mild. Highs warm into the 70s today with 50s to low 60s over the mountains. Bring an umbrella to the Rockies home opener in Denver! A stray shower is possible but most of the day in the Mile High City looks quiet and warm. Temperatures there will be hovering near 70.
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and mild with lows in the 40s. A few rain showers are likely over the far Eastern Plains.
EXTENDED: There is a good chance for scattered rain and thunder on Saturday, but mainly after 2PM in the afternoon. Highs will top off in the 60s to low 70s. Showers really pick up in coverage after sunset and we will even see a bit of high country snow. Sunday through Tuesday looks dry and warm before the chance for spring snow and a cool down arrive by the mid-week.
