Umbrella weather ahead – 4/2/19

TODAY: High thin clouds are in the forecast for the early afternoon today. Those will eventually increase to make a partly sunny to mostly cloudy sky during the late afternoon. Highs will warm to the 50s and 60s today, so we will be a little bit warmer than yesterday. By the evening commute, a few rain showers will start pushing in west of the interstate.

TONIGHT: Skies will be partly cloudy to mostly cloudy. Temperatures will be dropping into the 20s and 30s tonight. Any kind of rain and snow showers will be wrapping up early, leaving us with a mostly dry overnight.

EXTENDED: Wednesday looks fairly rainy and a little bit cooler. Highs will be climing into the 50s and 40s for the daytime. The biggest threats with these storms will be lightning and a little bit of hail. We dry out and warm up on Thursday before a few more showers and storms move in on Friday.
