Man arrested following assault at Colorado Springs convenience store

Police were called to a convenience store in the 1800 block of S. Nevada Saturday for reports of assault and menacing with a firearm.

Officers located the suspect, 21-year-old Corey Burrows at his nearby residence and arrested him without incident. Burrows was a regular customer at the convenience store and was identified by employees.

No significant injuries were sustained during the assault.

Burrows is booked on charges of assault in the second degree and menacing (felony).
