Colorado Springs residents without water following a water main break
A water main break left a number of customers without water in Southeast Colorado Springs Tuesday.
At around 7 a.m., the intersection of Rainier and Rushmore looked more like a river than a road.
Nancy Manchego lives in the area and went without water after the water main broke.
“Well it’s kind of a mess, but they are doing their best to get it cleaned up,” Manchego said.
Water main repair work is expected to last all day on Tuesday. Crews are working quickly to try and get water restored as soon as possible.
