Weather Alert: Icy start to Monday – 3/4/19

TODAY: We are starting the work week with a weather alert thanks to some lingering snow showers and very icy and snow covered roads. As we go through sunrise and the mid morning hours, winter weather advisories and snow showers will wrap up and we will be left with partly sunny skies. An afternoon snow shower is possible but most places stay dry and warm into the teens and 20s.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy to mostly clear. Overnight lows will cool off to the low teens and single digits. Places in the mountains will likely take a dip below zero tonight.

EXTENDED: Our weather gradually improves as we head through the next several days. In fact, by Thursday, a lot of us will be feeling breezy and mild conditions return. Mountain snow showers are likely on Friday with rain and snow east of I-25 on Saturday.
