UPDATE: Man arrested for shooting on Pueblo’s east side

The Pueblo Police Department has arrested a man for a shooting Friday night on Pueblo’s east side.

19-year-old Devan Martinez has been arrested for 1st Degree Assault.

Pueblo police were called to a possible homicide Friday evening after a caller reported someone was dead in their driveway.

Officers went out to the Dog Patch neighborhood for the shooting call near Fearnow Ave. around 8:30 p.m., according to police dispatch. One person was reportedly shot and appeared dead on a driveway.

Pueblo Police say the victim is in critical condition at a local hospital as of Saturday afternoon.
