Colorado Springs police: ‘suspected road rage’ shooting near airport
Colorado Springs police responded to a suspected road rage shooting at Fountain and Jet Wing Wednesday morning.
Police say the suspect is described as a 20-year-old black man with a mustache, and he’s wearing a hoodie.
The suspect vehicle is described as a possible gold Chevy Impala with temporary tags. There is damage to the passenger side of the vehicle.
The victim was taken to the hospital and is in critical and unstable condition, according to police.
Police are asking the public to avoid the intersection of Jet Wing and Fountain. The intersection is expected to be closed for several hours.
