As Senator Cory Gardner was making the rounds in Colorado Springs and Pueblo to talk about local issues, he responded to news that President Donald Trump had declared a national emergency to fund border security.
“I think the President is right to pursue additional border security dollars,” Gardner says, “I think Congress ought to do their job and make this border security a reality.”

The Republican Senator saying that before things move forward on the proposed wall, he wants to find out himself.”That’s what i’m looking at before anything further is just understanding the law, understanding the legal ramifications.”
