Some El Paso County schools close due to rampant illness
At least two schools in El Paso County will be closed Friday because too many students and staffers are getting sick.
James Irwin Charter Schools in Colorado Springs will be closed and the buildings will be deep cleaned and sanitized over the weekend because of the number of absences due to the flu.
Miami-Yoder District JT-60 announced it would also be closing Friday due to illnesses.
