Private group heads to Texas in attempt to build their own wall

An effort to fundraise money online for President Trump’s border wall through GoFundMe has turned into a foundation and its members are now vowing to go out and build the wall themselves.

The campaign, called “We The People Will Build The Wall”, has surpassed its $20 million goal since being created in December by an Air Force veteran and triple amputee, Brain Kolfage.

In total, the page has received almost 350,000 donations even hundreds oppose the efforts and as the longest ever government shutdown in U.S. history ended with Congress refusing to fund the President’s request to fund the wall.

It is still unclear whether the private group offering to build the wall in South Texas will actually be able to achieve such a goal to build the wall themselves. There are still several legal and environmental obstacles that stand in their way.
