Authorities looking for suspect(s) trying to break into cars in Douglas County Sunday morning

Authorities need the public’s help in locating a vehicle suspected of breaking into cars in the early hours of Sunday in Douglas County.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office posted about the incident to their official Twitter Sunday.

Deputies say the person/people of interest tried fleeing the scene around 5:36 a.m. when shots were fired during a pursuit with police. Thankfully, no one was hurt during the incident.

Not much is known about the suspect(s) at this time other than a picture that was released of their getaway vehicle.

If you know any information about the incident, you’re asked to contact police.
