Ice Castles to open on Friday in Dillion
The Ice Castles in Dillion announced Wednesday an earlier opening date than originally posted. They will be open to the public Friday, about a week earlier than expected.
The Ice Castle attractions are a holiday favorite that features 40-foot towers, ice-carved tunnels, slides with lights that change to music, fountains, thrones, and igloos.
The attraction is open Thursday through Monday. Tickets for the attraction went on sale Wednesday as well.
General admission to the attraction costs $15.95 on weekdays, $18.95 on weekends for adults. Children cost $10.95 on weekdays and $14.95 on weekends. Click here to purchase tickets.
The location is one of six to open across North America this year. Starting in mid-November, it’s taken company builders a total of five weeks and about 25 million pounds of ice to get them ready for the public.
According to a news press release, Ice Castles CEO Ryan Davis said, “We are excited to able to open. Kids will get out of school for the winter break and families will be spending time together. Ice Castles gives people one more way to make incredible winter memories over the holidays.”
There are five other Ice Castle locations around North America including, Utah, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Wisconsin, and Alberta, Canada.
