Mild today, wintry this weekend – 11/28/18
TODAY: Look for areas of clouds this morning, especially east of the mountains. Things will also be breezy in spots on the west side of I-25. These two things will help us start the day on a more mild note. We clear things out for the most part later today and warm into the 50s and 60s.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear to partly cloudy. Lows will be in the 20s and 30s.
EXTENDED: Thursday will bring more continued, quiet and mild weather for the southern half of the state before changes move in. Friday brings chances for light rain and snow during the afternoon, before clearing out by midnight. Right now, accumulations look non existent to minor. This means this will likely be a low impact event. Sunday into Monday will bring the chance for more significant snow. Right now, this remains a tricky forecast. Models are very split on the snow coming in. One model has a more northerly dry, track. The other brings the storm further south which would mean cold, wind and accumulating snow. Because this system is still several days out, you’ll have to check back for changes.
