Pueblo police arrest wanted homicide suspect in connection to June murder

UPDATE: The Pueblo Police Department has captured the suspect they believe to be in connection to the June 25th murder at the resident in the 2500 block of E. 20th Street.

Pueblo PD posted to their Twitter Tuesday that Charles Martinez (CJ), 20, was arrested and is out on a no bond warrant for Homicide.

They followed up the post saying, “out of 265 criminals featured, 242 have been arrested for a 91% arrest rate”.

Detectives need your help locating a suspect believed to have been involved in a homicide which took place at a residence in the 2500 block of E. 20th Street on June 25th.

The Pueblo Police Department Crimes Against Persons Section identified 20-year-old Charles James “CJ” Martinez. He is wanted in the murder of 20-year-old Clinton Jordan.

A warrant for 1st Degree Murder has been issued for Martinez’s arrest. If you have any information about his whereabouts, you’re asked to contact Detective Ryan Torres at (719) 320-6037, Sergeant Dustin Dodge at (719) 240-1523, or Captain Eric Bravo at (719) 320-6049.
