U.S. Service member killed in Afghanistan, 2nd this month
A U.S. service member was killed in Afghanistan this morning, making for the second U.S. death there this month.
No further details of how the service member was killed were given.
The service member’s identity is being held until the family is notified.
You may remember the first attack this month claimed the life of Maj. Brent Taylor, 39. He was killed on Nov. 3 in an apparent “insider attack.”
Taylor was on his fourth deployment overall, and second in Afghanistan.
