Man arrested after crashing stolen vehicle into other cars

Colorado Springs police say they found a stolen vehicle at an apartment complex near S. Circle, but the driver fled and ended up crashing into several other vehicles in the area.

A CSPD officer found the vehicle Sunday morning off Arlington Drive ( MAP ). The driver hit other vehicles in the parking lot, and officers later found the vehicle abandoned a few blocks away on Glacier Drive. There were two other vehicles that were struck on Glacier Drive.

Officers figured the suspects exited the vehicle while it was still in drive, and that’s what caused the additional crashes on Glacier Drive.

Police found the suspects in the area and arrested them. Only the driver was identified in a news release. Pablo Gonzales, 20, was booked on traffic and motor vehicle theft charges.
