Colorado Springs Police Department: A DUI now costs over $13,000
The Colorado Springs Police Department posted a video Facebook Sunday with the caption, “A DUI now cost over $13,000.”
The video that was created by the Colorado Department of Transportation, shows a woman and a man convicted of driving while under the influence.
Andrea M. says a young woman lost her life after she (Andrea) made the decision to drive after attending an “all you can drink party.”
“Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would wind up in prison from drinking and driving,” Andrea said.
David M. says he’s lost relationships, freedom and his job because of the decision he made to drive under the influence.
